C., <a href=\"https:\/\/www.omio.es\/viajes\/taranto?utm_source=omio-magazine&amp;utm_medium=magazine&amp;utm_campaign=city_guides&amp;utm_content=CG_Taranto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tarento<\/a> narra el relato de tres ciudades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hacia el norte, se encuentra su n\u00facleo industrial arenoso, hogar de la planta sider\u00fargica m\u00e1s grande de Europa. El plato m\u00e1s famoso de Tarento es el <em>Cozze alla Tarantina<\/em>, mejillones en salsa de tomate picante, pero tambi\u00e9n encontrar\u00e1s calamares y pescado tanto a la brasa como crudos en casi todos los restaurantes. Para ver lo que ocurre entre bambalinas, p\u00e1sate por el Mercato del Pesce por la ma\u00f1ana para ver a los chefs seleccionar los ingredientes para sus platos del d\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El restaurante de mariscos m\u00e1s conocido de Tarento, Gatto Rosso, es famoso por su ensalada de marisco picante y otras variaciones de la comida tradicional de Apulia, como los espaguetis con almejas de Tarento. Desde la d\u00e9cada de 1960, la misma familia lleva el tim\u00f3n del Ges\u00f9 Christo (s\u00ed, significa Jesucristo), otra <em>trattoria<\/em> de mucho renombre. Por otra parte, el Rist\u00f2 Fratelli Pesce es uno de los favoritos por su marisco de temporada combinado con una amplia selecci\u00f3n de vinos <br>de Apulia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si lo tuyo no es el pescado, puedes probar la <em>orecchiette<\/em>, pasta con forma de oreja, o pasarte por una carnicer\u00eda para comprar una <em>bombette<\/em>, un rollo hecho con carne y con distintos rellenos. Otra especialidad para llevar de Tarento es el <em>panzerotto<\/em>, una calzone horneada o frita rellena de tomate y mozzarella. La zona de Borgo Antico fue una vez una parte importante de la Magna Grecia, as\u00ed llamada debido a la colonizaci\u00f3n griega del sur de Italia entre los siglos VIII y V a.C. Los dirigentes hel\u00e9nicos dejaron reliquias como el templo d\u00f3rico de Poseid\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e1s hacia el oeste, encontrar\u00e1s la catedral de San Cataldo, que data del siglo XI y es uno de los edificios rom\u00e1nicos m\u00e1s antiguos de Apulia. Cruza el puente hacia el Borgo Nuovo para maravillarte con la colecci\u00f3n m\u00e1s grande del mundo de figuras de terracota griegas en el <br>Museo Nazionale Archeologico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si te apetece descansar, dir\u00edgete al sur de la ciudad hacia las playas pintorescas de la costa de Salento.
